The Journey
✨Your peace is like a precious jewel. What you pay attention to, becomes your reality - and in a world where distractions are a dime a dozen, it's important to hold sacred your most prized possession - that sense of wellbeing, safety, and peace. Turn your attention towards nurturing that sacred sense within yourself.

We live in a worldwide culture of distraction. By means of chaos, fear, and rage bait, our phones and our tv's are constantly serving us bad news, scary technological advances, and polarizing opinions designed to keep us anxious and angry. We're not designed to experience this onslaught of information 24/7. Our nervous systems just can't take it! And when we allow the information to rule our emotional and mental states, our hope for peace gets outsourced to the screen instead of living within us.

The same can be said for our level of inner peace on an interpersonal level. If we're constantly in demand, perhaps even being taken advantage of for our time, generosity, or talents, our nervous systems just can't take it. We need to re-charge and re-calibrate. We need to prioritize time for ourselves, simply resting in our own energy fields, and finding a space within that provides us with serenity.

This may mean stepping back from and overload of obligations, prioritizing only what our TRUE key priorities are. This may mean limiting time on social media or the bad news from the world. This may mean distancing ourselves from people or situations that demand much of us, but offer very little.

Prioritize your peace! Consider - what are my MAIN priorities? For me, when I went through this stage, my priorities were identified as, in no particular order, supporting my husband, cultivating closeness to and supporting our family, our home build, and of course, my peace and sense of spiritual well-being. From that space, once I had let go of extraneous things, I was able to find my creative voice again and make great things.
It can feel painful to strip things away from our lives, but to truly honor our peace - the greatest wellspring that we can create from - we have to love ourselves enough to make that space a blessed priority!
✨What do you REALLY care about?
✨What do you need to make space for, and what is taking up TOO much space, living rent free in your brain and heart?
✨What are some simple ways you can make space for YOU in your life? Can you create small moments for your own energy to recharge and re-ignite?
✨What would holding back your energy from extraneous things feel like, and look like, for you?
