The Themes

Release Resentment, Pain, Anger, Hurt - Higher Perspectives - High Vibration - Renewal

The Journey

As the lotus flower blooms through mud, our minds can rise through suffering to reach a higher perspective - FORGIVENESS.  Through opening our hearts and seeing clearly what drives people, including their darkness, compassion opens, rather than diminishes.  When our own light and knowledge shine brightly within, resentment no longer feels like a vibration we can carry.  We can release judgment, hurt, and leftover anger to the heavens, with compassion and love - and we travel so much lighter.

This forgiveness does not come from TRYING to find it within ourselves to forgive.  When we grasp at it, our anger and hurt may just amplify as we ruminate on the harm caused, and how DIFFICULT it feels to crawl out of, not to mention forgive someone (or ourselves) for causing it...  But, it takes WORK to hold onto resentment forever.  Believe me, I've tried.  And at some point, keeping it around doesn't match our energy anymore.

The easy release of forgiveness comes from gradually allowing our minds to grow into higher perspectives.  It comes from feeling our hearts re-open after the pain has processed.  It comes from finding gratitude in our life after the danger is gone.  This long, slow slide upward into a higher vibration eventually shows us that we no longer need the pain as identity - and whoosh- it goes into the ether.  We forgive.

But just because we forgive someone or something, doesn't mean that we are called to continue to TRUST that person, be around that person, or repair relationship with that person - especially if the pain is irreparable and severe.  It is up to our own discernment whether to come back together, or go our separate ways.  If intuition says "separate," we're under no obligation to tell that person we forgive them, either - especially when doing so would open up more communication or potential danger.

This is an invitation to give up your pain to Spirit, release, forgive, and close the chapter.  Feel the new lightness that comes with the release.  The presence of pure love lets you dance your dance, without blockages.  There's so much renewal to be experienced in the act of forgiveness.  Even knowing all the deeds done to us, if we let it go, we can become more ourselves than we have ever been before.
