The Journey

Our true spiritual power lies not in practices, rituals, or habits - but in our willingness to walk through open doors and see what's inside.

Behind what we assume ourselves to be - our thought patterns, our beliefs, our behaviors, our preferences, our appearances - a separate self, an isolated consciousness - lies a portal into deeper self discovery.

Being curious about what lies deep within, or deep behind the mind is a fabulous treasure hunt.  Examining the subconscious uncovers a richness of experience that can transform us.  Simplistic thinking becomes obsolete, and we sublimate from "limited human" to "multidimensional expression" simply by becoming aware of the infinity of rooms within our own being.

Through experiencing the vastness within ourselves, we cultivate self compassion and curiosity.  We become capable of healing what was in the shadows by bringing it to light.  We also see our vastness echoed in the "outer" world, and in others - and develop an empathy for all that exists, whether in light or shadow.

And, beautifully, we come to the recognition that we are not separate from some imagined "other"- the mental gymnastics we've been taught, to justify believing we are separate, becomes utterly transparent as a lie- "Truly, perhaps we ARE all ONE" - you begin to think- let that beauty sink in and become you.
