"Fuck it" - The Highest Mantra.

Stop trying so hard.  Give up trying to attain what you're after, stop pushing, stop striving!  There's MAGIC in throwing up your hands and letting it go.

Clinging to perfect outcomes isn't that cute.  When we're very interested in reaching a higher spiritual state, or achieving a new understanding of something, or reaching a goal, or getting something right, we can easily slide into OBSESSION with GETTING THERE.

​

"I MUST attain that thing, I gotta HAVE that spiritual experience, I NEED to master this state of being." 

Let's be clear, though, devotion is cool.  But sometimes, this well-meaning quality turns straight into grasping, holding too tightly, or over-thinking something so much that our brains start to be unable to approach the thing that we want with clear eyes.

But, FUCK IT!  Saying this un-clenches your mind, so your soul can just BE.

"Fuck it" unlocks the death grip you have on arriving at some imaginary final state of purity or awareness.  It removes the tension of needing to figure out a concept that you think you need to understand, in order to advance.  It causes striving to fall away, so you can actually experience moving towards a goal organically, with freedom and open-endedness.

Jesus is rumored to have said, "truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven."  This holds water!  And walks on it, too.  When we embrace our natural state of childlike wonder, pure curiosity, and joy - and reject hustling, grasping, and striving - that sense of ease becomes a gateway into exploration without needing answers.  There's profound purity in allowing the journey to be fun, delightful, and inconsequential!  And that purity is the key to greater mysteries, greater awakening, and a more pleasant experience!  Once we can let go and become more childlike in the wonder of our journey, sometimes things just... shift into heavenly vibes without warning.
